Nitro Bombs are green bombs that explode on touch, similar to the Landmine. When touched, they make a loud screeching sound and light up all while growing bigger before exploding. There is also a High Intensity variant with black and yellow stripes. It takes longer to actually explode, but does more damage and has a larger explosion. The Nitro Bomb has been in the game since the game's release.
Survival Tips[]
- Try to avoid touching the bomb to avoid unnecessary damage.
- Nitro Bombs have great explosion control, which is perfect for Bomb Jumping.
- Although avoidance is a way around this bomb, touching the bomb and running out of the explosion radius to escape damage is a choice.
- You can also touch it on purpose to deal damage to nearby players when it explodes.
- You could use Nitro Bombs as platforms over hazards, particularly lava.
Trivia[]
- Nitro Bombs use the same mesh as the Skeleton Bomb gear from the Roblox catalog.
- The old High Intensity model was the same as one from the avatar shop.
- The concept for the Nitro Bomb may be based on the Nitro Crates from the Crash Bandicoot series.
- In v3.21.0 (?), Nitro Bombs gained a new effect when exploding, similar to the one used by Earth Bombs.
- Smacking it will not trigger it.
